25% saving for all EV Power Customers using the MFG Connect App
Motor Fuel Group (MFG), the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, is pleased to announce that drivers who charge using the MFG Connect app will continue to pay just 59p per kWh at every MFG EV Power site in the UK, building on the success of its summer price drop.
The app price is 25% below MFG EV Power’s standard rate of 79p per kWh. That is a saving of 20p on every kWh, or up to £6 on a typical 30kWh charge, keeping MFG EV Power among the most affordable ultra-rapid charging networks in the country. The 59p rate applies from 1 October 2026 at all bays across the network for MFG Connect App users.
How it works:
- Download the free MFG Connect app from the App Store or Google Play and register.
- Start and pay for the charge through the app at any MFG EV Power site.
- Pay 59p per kWh. Drivers paying by contactless or card at the charger pay the standard 79p per kWh.
- The MFG Connect app is free to download and there is no subscription or membership fee required to access the 25% discount.
Building on a summer of savings
MFG cut its ultra-rapid price from 79p to 59p per kWh across its entire network on 1 July. Over the summer, drivers powered 100 million electric miles on MFG EV Power. Making the 59p price available through the app ensures those savings continue well beyond the school holidays.
MFG’s Nationwide Network
MFG EV Power stands at the forefront of the UK’s electric vehicle charging revolution, operating a fully nationwide network. Our charging bays deliver power at 150kW, 300kW, and up to 400kW, enabling drivers to add up to 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
As part of our commitment to accessibility and convenience, MFG has installed rapid EV charging bays across nearly 300 Morrisons supermarkets, and many of our sites are co-located with leading retail and food-to-go brands, including Greggs, Pret A Manger, Burger King, Subway, and Costa. This enables drivers to relax, grab a bite, or pick up essentials while they charge.
MFG is investing over £400 million into its EV charging network in line with the UK’s ambitious climate goals and the ongoing transformation towards cleaner, greener road transportation.
MFG remains committed to its long-term EV strategy, targeting over 3,000 ultra-rapid chargers across 500 sites by 2030, as part of its mission to build one of the UK’s largest and most reliable charging networks
