MFG – Here for you.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole MFG team – at head office, in the field and at our 900 forecourts – for their hard work and continued professionalism during these very difficult times.

They, like many in the ‘front-line’ of the retail sector are the unsung local heroes in our communities and deserve both recognition and our full respect.

As a designated ‘essential business’ providing fuel and groceries, our service stations are therefore ready to support their local communities – particularly the elderly, health workers and people in need. We are determined to play our part, helping people cope throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout all of this, paramount to our decision making is the health and safety of our employees and customers as we endeavour to keep providing these valuable local services. We are already working to the Government’s guidelines regarding hand washing and social distancing. In addition, over the next days and weeks, additional personal protective equipment, hand sanitising gel and till point Perspex screens will be delivered to all of our forecourts, as soon as they become available.

Please be assured that we are closely monitoring the situation and will take all appropriate measures to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all of our stores.

In these difficult times, it is our duty to pull together as a country and in every community.
