Health, Safety & Environment
Sustainability and proactive health, safety and environmental (HSE) management are key elements that form part of the core ethos of Motor Fuel Limited’s operating philosophy. The company is committed to the principle that safe and sustainable business practices are not only beneficial to the environment, community, and individual wellbeing, but also to the efficiency, profitability and future success of the business.
Sustainability is embedded into the DNA of the company and is demonstrable by the fact that the operating practices of the organisation are governed by an Integrated Management System (IMS), which is externally certified not only to ISO 14001: Environmental Management, but also to ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management, and ISO 9001: Quality Management. By embedding the principles of HSE management into company operating systems in this way, they become part of ‘the way we do business’ rather than an additional problem to overcome. They are considered of equal importance by the board of directors to all other challenges faced by the organisation.
This integrated approach to is exemplified in the way in which the company approaches all routine business activities, such as site operation, repair and maintenance, and in development and construction of new plant and facilities. For more information, please see our various company policies which can be accessed from this page.
For contractors and third-party suppliers who may intend to or already work with MFG, the company has also developed a Contractor Handbook document for your reference. This provides comprehensive information on the minimum standards required by the company for all contractors providing construction, repair and maintenance services to the company and is available to any interested parties below. Alternatively, if you are interested in a specific topic and would prefer to view information relating only to that, a suite of smaller Contractor Management Guidance Documents is also available.
